Throughout a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors, Cortney has developed extensive expertise in provider enrollment and insurance credentialing for Home Health, Hospice and Home Care Agencies. Cortney has successfully managed high-volume credentialing portfolios involving Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance carriers and Managed Care Organizations, while ensuring compliance with complex federal, state, accreditation and payer-specific requirements.
Cortney played an integral role in the formation and organizational development of JP Healthcare Solutions, LLC, contributing to the company’s operational framework, compliance infrastructure, strategic planning and organizational documentation. Through these efforts, Cortney has helped establish the foundation for a healthcare consulting organization focused on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, provider enrollment and innovative solutions that support healthcare providers and the communities they serve.
As part of JP Healthcare Solutions’ mission, Cortney has also supported the introduction of the EZ Lift Vest, an innovative patient mobility and transfer assistance device designed to help caregivers safely assist older adults and individuals with disabilities. By promoting safer transfers, reducing caregiver strain, and enhancing patient dignity and independence, the EZ Lift Vest reflects the organization’s commitment to practical solutions that improve quality of care and support aging in place.
In addition to an extensive healthcare operations background, Cortney is a Florida Licensed Life, Health, and Annuity Insurance Agent, providing valuable expertise in insurance products, healthcare coverage and regulatory requirements. This combination of healthcare operations and insurance knowledge enables Cortney to offer a well-rounded perspective on the intersection of healthcare delivery, reimbursement and patient access to services.
Most recently, Cortney served as Provider Enrollment Manager for 21st Century Health Care Consultants, where responsibilities included directing end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing operations for more than 100 healthcare providers. As the organization’s credentialing subject matter expert, Cortney developed comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), implemented workflow improvements, trained and mentored credentialing professionals, strengthened payer relationships, and improved operational efficiency while maintaining audit-ready compliance.
Earlier career experience includes leadership and program administration roles with Safe Children Coalition and the Florida Department of Children and Families, where Cortney specialized in Medicaid eligibility, revenue maximization, quality assurance, staff development, regulatory compliance, and public assistance program administration.
Cortney earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Pre-Law) from the University of Central Florida and remains committed to advancing healthcare through operational excellence, innovation, continuous improvement and compassionate service.
