Assisted Living Vs In-Home Care

We ask quite a bit when speaking with families whether or not they would be appropriate for assisted living or in-home care. That is really going to be dependent on the situation for the family and the biggest component is financially.

When it comes to in-home care especially, it can be very expensive and I know sometimes assisted living can be expensive as well. If you factor in 24-hour care within home care, you’re going to find that you’re paying a lot more usually for in-home care than you would assisted living.

With that said, the benefit in assisted living as well is you’re going to have a lot more socialization, interaction with others and you’re also going to enjoy the freedom of having no worry with any bills and the worries of maintaining a house.
